Bio
Son of a hillclimb pilot, Alex gets into a kart for the first time when he was two and a half years old and he started racing in 2007. After winning the 2015 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in the Senior class, in 2016 Alex stepped in KZ2 and took home a deserved third place in the WSK Super Master Series and a fourth place in the CIK-FIA European KZ2 championship in Energy Corse colours. The icing on the cake for his 2016 season has been the SuperCorso Federale CSAI that saw him training hard for three days with a Formula 4 car and a Lamborghini Supertrofeo at Vallelunga racetrack. In 2017 he passed with Sodikart orange-black colours alongside two experienced drivers such as Bas Lammers and the 2016 Vice-World Champion Anthony Abbasse. The driver from Locorotondo, Puglia (southern Italy) has confirmed his talent finishing third in the 2017 CIK-FIA European KZ2 championship and winning the 2017 CIK-FIA International KZ2 Super Cup. In the 2018 Alex stepped up to KZ and he took home a second place in the WSK Super Master Series, a 4th position in the CIK-FIA KZ World Championship and he won the 24 hours of Le Mans karting, valid for the CIK-FIA Endurance Championship.
