On occasion of the PowerPark Kart Race before the FIA Karting World Championship, Alex Irlando recovers from 25th in qualy up to 8th.

After the summer break Alex Irlando returns on his direct drive BirelART to get ready for the FIA Karting World Championship. In qualy Alex posts the 25th chrono overall, but throughout the heats he recovers up to 16th thanks to a P11, a P8 and two P7.

The final has the same plot: Alex is very consistent and recovers from the middle of the pack up to P8.

“It has been a positive weekend, even if it didn’t start very well. In the end I managed to find the way from the back up to the top ten. The situation during the weekend was a little bit concitated because of the safety problems on track, it created some confusion. Frankly speaking it’s a tough track where to race the World Championship, let’s see it the FIA will confirm it or not. From my point of view, I’m more than ready to fight for the world crown!”

The next race will be once again in Alahärmä, Finland, from September 6th to 8th.
