The driver from Locorotondo finishes the 2017 season in Vienna where, in occasion of the FIA-CEZ Prize Giving Ceremony, he received the 2017 “Talent of the Year” award.

A racing season full of races and successes has come to an end. At the Hilton Danube Waterfront in Vienna, Alex Irlando was awarded by FIA President Jean Todt as 2017 “Talent of the Year”. His wins didn’t go unnoticed and it finally came the official recognition of the federation.

“The wins of this season are a good starting point for 2018. The double commitment in OK and KZ will be tough, but we have all the preconditions to have another successful year. I’d liket to thank the FIA-CEZ delegate Walter Oliva to have supported my application. Finally I’ll go on vacation for a couple of weeks and I’ll back on track on January to prepare the next season.”

The first official appointment in 2018 is the WSK collective test in Adria on January 20th and 21st.
